Amends the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States to suspend the duty on furniture seats and parts made of cane, osier, bamboo, or other similar materials, including rattan, through December 31, 1992.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (19 U.S.C. 3001) is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the following new item: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ` 9902.90.95 Furniture seats and parts thereof, of cane, osier, bamboo or other similar materials, including rattan (provided for in subheading 9401.50.00, 9401.90.25, 9403.80.30, or 9403.90.25) Free No change No change On or before 12/31/92 '. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SEC. 2. The amendment made by the first section of this Act applies to articles entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the 15th day after the date of the enactment of this Act.
