Amends the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States to provide a duty on certain furnishing articles made of cotton and vegetable fiber.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That chapter XI of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended by striking out subheading 6307.10.20 and inserting the following with the article descriptions for subheadings 6307.10.15 and 6307.10.25 having the same degree of indentation as the article description for subheading 6304.19.30: -------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- ` 6307.10.15 Of cotton 10.5% Free (E*I) 40% 6307.10.25 Vegetable fiber except cotton 4.6% Free (E*I) 40% '. -------------------------------------------------------------------- SEC. 2. The amendment made by the first section of this Act applies with respect to articles entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the 15th day after the date of the enactment of this Act.
