IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES May 9, 1989 Mr. HOCHBRUECKNER introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services A BILL To allow the obsolete destroyer U.S.S. Edson (DD 946) to be transferred to the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in New York before the expiration of the otherwise applicable 60-day congressional review period. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That clauses (2) and (3) of section 7308(c) of title 10, United States Code, shall not apply with respect to the transfer by the Secretary of the Navy under section 7308(a) of such title of the obsolete destroyer U.S.S. Edson (DD 946) to the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum, a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of New York.
