To temporarily suspend the duty on 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4 -isothiazolin-3-one.

Amends the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States to suspend, through December 31, 1996, the duty on: (1) 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one; and (2) mixtures of 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and application adjuvants, with or without stabilizers.

  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United
  States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. 4,5-DICHLORO-2-N-OCTYL-4-ISOTHIAZO- LIN-3-ONE.
  (a) IN GENERAL- Chapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule
  of the United States is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the
  following new heading:

SEC. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
  The amendments made by section 1 of this Act shall apply with respect to
  goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after
  the date that is 15 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
