A BILL
To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide that members of
Hamas (commonly known as the Islamic Resistance Movement) be considered
to be engaged in a terrorist activity and ineligible to receive visas
and excluded from admission into the United States.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. TERRORIST ACTIVITIES.
Section 212(a)(3)(B)(i) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8
U.S.C. 1182(a)(3)(B)(i)) is amended by adding at the end ``An alien who
is a member, officer, official, representative, or spokesperson of
Hamas (commonly known as the Islamic Resistance Movement) is
considered, for purposes of this Act, to be engaged in a terrorist
activity.''.
