To reduce until January 1, 1997, the duty on certain chemicals.

Amends the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States to reduce, through December 31, 1996, the duty on: (1) a-n-butyl-a-(4-chlorophenyl)-1H,1,2,4-triazole-1-propanenitrile (myclobutanil); and (2) a(2-(-chlorophenyl)-ethyl)-a-phenyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole-1-propanenitrile (fenbuconazole).

    To reduce until January 1, 1997, the duty on certain chemicals.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. MYCLOBUTANIL.

    Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of 
the United States is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the 
following new heading:

      

       ``  9902.31.12  <greek-a>-n-Butyl-<greek-a>-(4-chlorophenyl)-1H-1,2,4-                      No change        No change        On or before 12/

SEC. 3. APPLICABILITY.

    The amendments made by sections 1 and 2 apply with respect to goods 
entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the 
15th day after the date of the enactment of this Act.
