A BILL
To require the Administrator of General Services to convey to the city
of Key West, Florida, each of 2 parcels of land of the Naval Air
Station Key West in Key West, Florida, at such time as the parcel is
reported to the Administrator as excess to the needs of the Department
of the Navy.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. CONVEYANCE OF LAND TO THE CITY OF KEY WEST, FLORIDA.
(a) Requirement.--Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the
Administrator of General Services shall convey to the city of Key West,
Florida, each of the parcels of real property described in subsection
(c), at such time as the parcel is reported to the General Services
Administration as excess to the needs of the Department of the Navy.
(b) Terms.--A conveyance of property under this section shall be by
quitclaim deed, without monetary consideration, and subject to such
other terms and conditions as the Administrator determines to be
appropriate.
(c) Property Described.--The real property referred to in
subsection (a) consists of 2 separate parcels in Key West, Florida, as
follows:
(1) Approximately 1.82 acres of land and improvements
located on Simonton Street and known as the Simonton Street
Commissary Store of the Naval Air Station Key West.
(2) Approximately 36.16 acres of land and improvements
known as the Poinciana Housing of the Naval Air Station Key
West.
