A BILL
To temporarily waive the enrollment composition rule under the Medicaid
program for certain health maintenance organizations.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. WAIVER OF 75/25 MEDICAID ENROLLMENT RULE FOR CERTAIN MANAGED
CARE ORGANIZATIONS.
The requirement of section 1903(m)(2)(A)(ii) of the Social Security
Act (42 U.S.C. 1396b(m)(2)(A)(ii)) is waived with respect to facilities
of HealthCare USA, Inc. and Ultramedix Health Care Systems Inc.
operating in Florida for contract periods beginning on July 1, 1996,
and ending on June 30, 1998.
