CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
Expressing the sense of the Congress that the President should take
certain actions to address violence in schools in the United States.
Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring),
That it is the sense of the Congress that the President should--
(1) initiate a series of town meetings across the Nation to
discuss ways to address the growing crisis of violence in
schools in the United States; and
(2) call upon States and localities to improve
communication between law enforcement officials and students,
parents, and teachers, by means including the establishment of
school violence prevention hotlines to inform law enforcement
officials when threats of violence are made at school.
