A BILL
To direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to transfer certain Fort
Howard Park lands to Baltimore County, Maryland.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. LAND TRANSFER AT FORT HOWARD PARK, BALTIMORE COUNTY,
MARYLAND.
(a) In General.--Except as provided by subsection (c), the
Secretary of Veterans Affairs may transfer, without consideration, all
right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the lands
described in subsection (b) to Baltimore County, Maryland, for use for
public purposes.
(b) Lands Described.--The lands referred to in subsection (a) are
those parcels located at the Fort Howard Division of the Veterans
Administration Maryland Health Care System which consist of
approximately 35 acres and are labelled as ``Parcel A'' and ``Parcel
B'' on the map entitled ``Fort Howard Park Land Transfer'' and dated
________. The exact acreage and legal description of the real property
to be transferred under this section shall be determined by a survey
satisfactory to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
(c) Reversion.--Any lands transferred under subsection (a) that
cease to be used for public purposes by Baltimore County, Maryland,
shall revert to the United States.
