Mr. Nethercutt introduced the following bill; which was referred to the

A BILL
To amend title 10, United States Code, to provide that covered
beneficiaries under chapter 55 of such title shall not be required to
pay a copayment for health care services received under TRICARE Prime.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION. 1. ELIMINATION OF COPAYMENTS UNDER TRICARE PRIME.
(a) In General.--Chapter 55 of title 10, United States Code, is
amended in section 1095d by adding at the end the following new
subsection:
``(c) Termination of Copayments for Covered Beneficiaries.--The
Secretary may not require a covered beneficiary to pay a copayment for
health care services received under TRICARE Prime.''.
(b) Clerical Amendments.--(1) The heading of such section is
amended to read as follows:
``Sec. 1095d. TRICARE program: waiver of certain deductibles and
copayments''.
(2) The item relating to section 1095d in the table of sections at
the beginning of such chapter is amended to read as follows:
``1095d. TRICARE program: waiver of certain deductibles and
copayments.''.
