A BILL
To redesignate the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Minnesota, as
the ``Hubert H. Humphrey Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness''.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. REDESIGNATION OF BOUNDARY WATERS CANOE AREA WILDERNESS,
MINNESOTA.
(a) In General.--In recognition of Senator Hubert H. Humphrey's
commitment to the preservation of Minnesota's natural resources and
dedication to ensuring public access to those resources through
establishment of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Minnesota,
by Public Law 95-495 (16 U.S.C. 1132 note; 92 Stat. 1649), the Boundary
Waters Canoe Area Wilderness shall be known and designated as the
``Hubert H. Humphrey Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness''.
(b) References.--Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document,
paper, or other record of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness,
Minnesota, shall be deemed to be a reference to the Hubert H. Humphrey
Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
