Mr. Wynn submitted the following concurrent resolution; which was
referred to the Committee on International Relations

CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
Expressing appreciation to Turkey for offering to provide special
forces in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Whereas Turkey has offered to provide special forces in support of Operation
Enduring Freedom;
Whereas as the member nation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization located
closest to Afghanistan, Turkey is the first Muslim country to offer
direct military participation in Operation Enduring Freedom; and
Whereas through this offer Turkey has demonstrated itself to be a staunch ally
and friend of the United States: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring),
That Congress expresses its appreciation to Turkey for offering to
provide special forces in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
