bill; which was referred to the Committee on Education and the
Workforce

A BILL
To amend the Act of March 3, 1931 (known as the Davis-Bacon Act) to
increase the contract amount specified in the Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Davis-Bacon Modernization Act''.
SEC. 2. INCREASE IN CONTRACT AMOUNT.
Subsection (a) of the first section of the Act of March 3, 1931
(known as the Davis-Bacon Act) is amended by striking ``$2,000'' and
inserting ``$100,000''.
