A BILL
To amend the Hmong Veterans' Naturalization Act of 2000 to extend the
deadlines for application and payment of fees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Bruce Vento Hmong Veterans'
Naturalization Extension Act''.
SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF DEADLINES.
Section 6 of the Hmong Veterans' Naturalization Act of 2000 (Public
Law 106-207; 8 U.S.C. 1423 note) (as amended by Public Law 106-415) is
amended by striking ``18 months'' each place such term appears and
inserting ``36 months''.
