tree farming is agriculture under that Act.

following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Education and
the Workforce

A BILL
To amend the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to clarify that Christmas
tree farming is agriculture under that Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 3(f) of
the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (29 U.S.C. 203(f)) is amended by
inserting ``Christmas trees and'' after ``commodities (including''.
