A BILL
To designate a portion of the Nantahala National Forest in Jackson
County, North Carolina, in honor of James and Elspeth McClure Clarke.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. DESIGNATION OF PANTHERTOWN VALLEY TRACT OF NANTAHALA
NATIONAL FOREST, JACKSON COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, IN HONOR
OF JAMES AND ELSPETH MCCLURE CLARKE.
The portion of the Nantahala National Forest in Jackson County,
North Carolina, known as the Panthertown Valley tract and consisting of
approximately 6,294 acres is hereby designated as the ``James and
Elspeth McClure Clarke Forest'' in honor of James and Elspeth McClure
Clarke.
