A BILL
To extend the temporary suspension of duty on bromine-containing
compounds.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. EXTENSION OF EXISTING DUTY SUSPENSIONS.
(a) In General.--Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized
Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended in the effective period
column of headings 9902.28.08, 9902.28.09, and 9902.28.10 by striking
the date contained therein and inserting ``12/31/2005''.
(b) Effective Date.--The amendments made by subsection (a) shall
apply with respect to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for
consumption, on or after the date that is 15 days after the date of the
enactment of this Act.
