A BILL
For the relief of Valentine Nwandu.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. WAIVER OF GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL OF, OR DENIAL OF ADMISSION TO,
VALENTINE NWANDU.
(a) In General.--Notwithstanding section 237(a), and paragraphs
(2)(A)(i)(II), (2)(C), (5)(A)(i), (6)(C), and (7)(A)(i)(I) of section
212(a), of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Valentine Nwandu may
not be removed from the United States or denied admission to the United
States by reason of any criminal offense that is reflected in the
records of the Immigration and Naturalization Service of the Department
of Justice, or the Visa Office of the Department of State, on the date
of the enactment of this Act.
(b) Rescission of Outstanding Order of Removal.--The Attorney
General shall rescind any outstanding order of removal, or any finding
of inadmissibility, that has been entered against Valentine Nwandu by
reason of any offense described in subsection (a). Any such offense
shall not be taken into account in determining whether Valentine Nwandu
is eligible to receive a visa or whether the status of Valentine Nwandu
may be adjusted to that of an alien lawfully admitted to the United
States for permanent residence.
