American Indian Lands Title Report Commission Corrections Act

American Indian Lands Title Report Commission Corrections Act - Amends the American Homeownership and Economic Opportunity Act of 2000, which established the Lands Title Report Commission (to facilitate home loan mortgages on Indian trust lands) subject to advanced appropriations, to repeal the precondition of advance appropriations. (Thus establishes the Commission by enactment of this Act.) Requires appointment of the Commission within 90 days after enactment of this Act.

    To amend section 501 of the American Homeownership and Economic 
 Opportunity Act of 2000 to provide for the establishment of the Lands 
            Title Report Commission for Indian trust lands.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

     This Act may be cited as the ``American Indian Lands Title Report 
Commission Corrections Act''.

SEC. 2. LANDS TITLE REPORT COMMISSION.

    (a) Establishment.--Section 501(a) of the American Homeownership 
and Economic Opportunity Act of 2000 (25 U.S.C. 4043 note) is amended 
by striking ``Subject to sums being provided in advance in 
appropriations Acts, there'' and inserting ``There''.
    (b) Appointment of Members.--Section 501(b)(1) of the American 
Homeownership and Economic Opportunity Act of 2000 (25 U.S.C. 4043 
note) is amended by striking ``this Act'' and inserting ``the American 
Indian Lands Title Report Commission Corrections Act''.
    (c) Initial Meeting.--Section 501(c) of the American Homeownership 
and Economic Opportunity Act of 2000 (25 U.S.C. 4043 note) is amended 
by striking ``the Chairperson of the Commission determines that sums 
sufficient for the Commission to carry out its duties under this Act 
have been appropriated for such purpose'' and inserting ``the 
completion of the appointment of the initial members pursuant to 
subsection (b)(1)''.
