Amends the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States to suspend, through December 31, 2008, the duty on Acrylic fiber tow (polyacrylonitrile tow) consisting of 1 to 12 sub-bundles crimped together, each containing 24,000 filaments (plus or minus 0.06) and 4-8 percent water, such acrylic fiber containing a minimum of 92 percent acrylonitrile, not more than 0.1 percent zinc, and average filament denier of 1.5 decitex (plus or minus 0.08).

A BILL
To suspend temporarily the duty on certain acrylic fiber tow.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. CERTAIN ACRYLIC FIBER TOW.
(a) In General.--Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized
Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended by inserting in
numerical sequence the following new heading:
