A BILL
To extend the temporary reduction in duty on certain educational
devices.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. CERTAIN EDUCATIONAL DEVICES.
(a) In General.--Heading 9902.85.43 of the Harmonized Tariff
Schedule of the United States (relating to certain educational devices)
is amended--
(1) by striking ``1.67%'' and inserting ``Free''; and
(2) in the effective period column, by striking ``12/31/
2006'' and inserting ``12/31/2008''.
(b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by subsection (a) applies
to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or
after the 15th day after the date of enactment of this Act.
