A BILL
To rename the Ocmulgee National Monument.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. OCMULGEE NATIONAL MONUMENT RENAMED.
The Act of June 14, 1934, (Chapter 519; 48 Stat. 958; 16 U.S.C.
447a-447c) is amended by adding at the end the following:
``Sec. 4. Notwithstanding section 1, the Ocmulgee National
Monument shall be known as the Ocmulgee Mounds National Monument. Any
reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record
of the United States to the Ocmulgee National Monument is deemed to be
a reference to the Ocmulgee Mounds National Monument.''.
