Amends the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Act of 1981 to increase from $600 million to $750 million the annual authorization of appropriations for the home energy assistance needs of states arising from a natural disaster or other emergency.

A BILL
To increase the annual amount authorized for emergency assistance under
the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Act of 1981.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE.
Section 2602(e) of the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Act of
1981 (42 U.S.C. 8621(e)) is amended by striking ``$600,000,000'' and
inserting ``$750,000,000''.
