Mr. Garrett introduced the following bill; which was referred to the
Committee on Foreign Affairs, and in addition to the Committee on
Rules, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in
each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the
jurisdiction of the committee concerned

A BILL
To repeal the War Powers Resolution.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. REPEAL OF WAR POWERS RESOLUTION.
The War Powers Resolution (Public Law 93-148; 50 U.S.C. 1541 et
seq.) is repealed.
