A BILL
Making supplemental appropriations for the Department of Homeland
Security for purposes of establishing and maintaining mobile hospital
units for responding to an epidemic, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND
SECURITY TO ESTABLISH MOBILE HOSPITAL UNITS FOR COMBATING
EPIDEMICS.
There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Homeland
Security, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated,
for an additional amount for the purpose to establish and maintain
mobile hospital units as a preparation for responding to a possible
epidemic, $5,000,000,000, to remain available until expended.
