A BILL
To require the Secretary of the Treasury to convene a panel to solicit
recommendations for and select a portrait of a woman to be used in a
redesign of the $20 Federal Reserve note.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Put a Woman on the Twenty Act of
2015''.
SEC. 2. SELECTION OF A PORTRAIT FOR THE $20 FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE.
The Secretary of the Treasury shall make such arrangements as are
necessary to convene a panel of United States citizens to solicit
recommendations from the public for a portrait of a woman to be used in
a redesign of the $20 Federal Reserve note. The panel shall submit a
recommendation to the Secretary of the Treasury on a date determined by
the Secretary.
