A BILL
To remove the authority of the Secretary of Energy to amend or issue
new energy efficiency standards for ceiling fans.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. CEILING FAN STANDARDS.
Section 325(ff) of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (42
U.S.C. 6295(ff)) is amended--
(1) by striking paragraphs (5) and (6); and
(2) by redesignating paragraph (7) as paragraph (5).
