Rescinding DHS' Waiver Authority for Border Wall Act
This bill repeals the Department of Homeland Security's authority to waive all legal requirements in order to ensure the expeditious construction of barriers and related roads along the border in the southwestern United States.

A BILL
To amend the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility
Act of 1996 to repeal certain waiver authority relating to the
construction of new border barriers, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Rescinding DHS' Waiver Authority for
Border Wall Act''.
SEC. 2. REPEAL OF WAIVER AUTHORITY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW BORDER
BARRIERS.
Section 102 of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant
Responsibility Act of 1996 (division C of Public Law 104-208; 8 U.S.C.
1103 note) is amended by striking subsection (c).
