Free Press Act of 2019
This bill requires the President or his designee, at least twice a week, to brief members of the press assigned to report on the White House on the official business of the President.
Each briefing shall be video recorded and transmitted to the public.

A BILL
To require the President, or a designee of the President, to provide
frequent press briefings covering the official business of the
President to the White House press corps.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Free Press Act of 2019''.
SEC. 2. WHITE HOUSE PRESS CORPS.
(a) Required Briefing.--Not less than 2 times per week, the
President, or a designee of the President, shall brief the members of
the press assigned to report on the White House on the official
business of the President.
(b) Transmission to the Public.--Each brief described under
subsection (a) shall be recorded by video and transmitted to the
public.
