A BILL
To direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to designate an
official within the Department of Health and Human Services to
coordinate the efforts of Federal departments and agencies with respect
to COVID-19.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Emergency Response Coordinator Act
of 2020''.
SEC. 2. COVID-19 RESPONSE COORDINATOR.
The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall designate an
official within the Department of Health and Human Services to
coordinate the efforts of Federal departments and agencies with respect
to COVID-19.
