To amend the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to provide reimbursements for licensing and exam fees under the Veteran Rapid Retraining Assistance Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

To amend the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to provide reimbursements 
    for licensing and exam fees under the Veteran Rapid Retraining 
       Assistance Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. REIMBURSEMENTS FOR LICENSING AND EXAM FEES UNDER VETERAN 
              RAPID RETRAINING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.

    Subsection (c) of section 8006 of the American Rescue Plan Act of 
2021 (Public Law 117-2; 38 U.S.C. 3001 note prec.) is amended by adding 
at the end the following new paragraph:
            ``(5) Licensing and exam fees.--In carrying out retraining 
        assistance under this section, the Secretary shall provide 
        reimbursements to eligible veterans for licensing and exam fees 
        in a manner the Secretary determines appropriate.''.
