A BILL
To prohibit the issuance of a passport with any gender designation
other than ``male'' and ``female'', and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Traditional Passport Act'' or the
``TPA Act''.
SEC. 2. PROHIBITION.
The Secretary of State may not issue any passport that contains an
``X'' gender designation and may permit applicants for passports to
select from only ``Male'' or ``Female''.
