A BILL
To amend the National Defense Authorization Act with respect to funds
for expenses necessary to implement the Port and Intermodal Improvement
Program, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Port Automation Improvement Act of
2022''.
SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION OF THE MARITIME ADMINISTRATION.
Section 3501(a)(12) of the National Defense Authorization Act for
Fiscal Year 2022 (Public Law 117-81) is amended by striking ``, except
that'' and all that follows through ``port terminal''.
