   To amend the Honoring our PACT Act of 2022 to establish a maximum 
amount of attorney fees for suits against the United States relating to 
                 water at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Camp Lejeune Veterans and Families 
Protection Act''.

SEC. 2. MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF ATTORNEY FEES FOR SUITS AGAINST THE UNITED 
              STATES RELATING TO WATER AT CAMP LEJEUNE, NORTH CAROLINA.

    Section 804 of the Honoring our PACT Act of 2022 (Public Law 117-
168; 28 U.S.C. 2671 note) is amended by adding at the end the following 
new subsection:
    ``(k) Attorney Fees and Penalties.--The limit on fees and the 
penalties under section 2678 of title 28, United States Code, shall 
apply with respect to actions under this section.''.
