A BILL
To amend title XI of the Social Security Act to increase the payment
limit under Medicaid for the Northern Mariana Islands.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Northern Mariana Islands Medicaid
Equivalence Act''.
SEC. 2. INCREASING PAYMENT LIMIT UNDER MEDICAID FOR THE NORTHERN
MARIANA ISLANDS.
Section 1108(g)(2)(D) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C.
1308(g)(2)(D)) is amended--
(1) in clause (i), by striking ``clause (ii)'' and
inserting ``clauses (ii) through (iv)'';
(2) in clause (ii), by striking ``and'' at the end; and
(3) by adding at the end the following new clause:
``(iv) for fiscal year 2024, the amount
determined under subparagraph (E) with respect
to American Samoa for such fiscal year; and''.
