California Clean School Bus Equity Act
This bill removes a limitation on amounts that may be provided to all eligible entities in a state under the clean school bus program administered by the Environmental Protection Agency. Specifically, the bill removes a provision that limits the amount received by all eligible entities in a state from grants and rebates under the program to no more than 10% of the amounts made available to carry out the program during a fiscal year.

A BILL
To amend the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to remove a limitation on
amounts provided under the clean school bus program, and for other
purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``California Clean School Bus Equity
Act''.
SEC. 2. CLEAN SCHOOL BUS PROGRAM.
Section 741(b)(7) of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (42 U.S.C.
16091(b)(7)) is amended to read as follows:
``(7) Deployment and distribution.--The Administrator
shall--
``(A) to the maximum extent practicable, achieve
nationwide deployment of clean school buses and zero-
emission school buses through the program under this
section; and
``(B) ensure a broad geographic distribution of
awards.''.
