introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on
Natural Resources, and in addition to the Committee on Science, Space,
and Technology, for a period to be subsequently determined by the
Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall
within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

A BILL
To amend the National Landslide Preparedness Act to reauthorize such
Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``National Landslide Preparedness Act
Reauthorization Act of 2024''.
SEC. 2. NATIONAL LANDSLIDE PREPAREDNESS ACT REAUTHORIZATION.
The National Landslide Preparedness Act (43 U.S.C. 3101 et seq.) is
amended--
(1) in section 3(h) (43 U.S.C. 3102(h)), by striking ``2021
through 2024'' and inserting ``2024 through 2028''; and
(2) in section 5(e), by striking ``2021 through 2024'' and
inserting ``2024 through 2028''.
