A BILL
To prohibit natural asset companies from entering into any agreement
with respect to land in the State of Utah or natural assets on or in
such land.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. PROHIBITION.
(a) In General.--A natural asset company may not enter into any
agreement with respect to land in the State of Utah or natural assets
on or in such land.
(b) Natural Asset Company Defined.--In this section, the term
``natural asset company''--
(1) has the meaning given that term under the notice of the
Securities and Exchange Commission titled ``Self-Regulatory
Organizations; New York Stock Exchange LLC; Notice of Filing of
Proposed Rule Change To Amend the NYSE Listed Company Manual To
Adopt Listing Standards for Natural Asset Companies'' (88 Fed.
Reg. 68811; published October 4, 2023); and
(2) includes any company that is substantially similar to a
company described under paragraph (1).
