following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Natural

A BILL
To require the Secretary of the Interior to finalize a proposed rule to
remove the Apache trout from the Federal List of Endangered and
Threatened Wildlife.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. FINALIZATION OF PROPOSED RULE TO REMOVE APACHE TROUT FROM
FEDERAL LIST OF ENDANGERED AND THREATENED WILDLIFE.
Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this
section, the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of
the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, shall finalize the
proposed rule titled ``Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants;
Removing the Apache Trout From the List of Endangered and Threatened
Wildlife'' (88 Fed. Reg. 54548; published August 11, 2023).
