Kansas) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the
Committee on Financial Services

A BILL
To amend section 5336 of title 31, United States Code, to provide
existing small businesses with an additional year to file beneficial
ownership information, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SMALL BUSINESS BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP REPORTING EXTENSION.
Section 5336(b)(1)(B) of title 31, United States Code, is amended
by inserting after ``paragraph (2)'' the following: ``, except that any
such reporting company that is a small business concern (as defined
under section 3 of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 632)) shall submit
to FinCEN a report that contains such information during the period
beginning on the effective date of the regulations prescribed under
this subsection and ending on December 31, 2025''.
