introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the
Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry

A BILL
To prohibit the Secretary of Agriculture from taking certain proposed
actions relating to a land management plan direction for old-growth
forest conditions across the National Forest System.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. PROHIBITION ON TAKING PROPOSED ACTIONS.
The Secretary of Agriculture shall not take the proposed actions
described in the notice of the Forest Service entitled ``Land
Management Plan Direction for Old-Growth Forest Conditions Across the
National Forest System'' (88 Fed. Reg. 88042 (December 20, 2023)).
