This bill extends the specialized rate increase for Medicare payment of ground ambulance services in rural areas for an additional three years (until January 1, 2028).

Means, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in
each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the

A BILL
To amend title XVIII to protect patient access to ground ambulance
services under part B of the Medicare program.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Protecting Access to Ground
Ambulance Medical Services Act of 2025''.
SEC. 2. PROTECTING PATIENT ACCESS TO GROUND AMBULANCE SERVICES.
Section 1834(l) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395m(l)) is
amended--
(1) in paragraph (12)(A), by striking ``2025'' and
inserting ``2028''; and
(2) in paragraph (13)(A), by striking ``2025'' each place
it appears and inserting ``2028'' in each such place.
