Mr. Johnson of South Dakota introduced the following bill; which was
referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

A BILL
To eliminate the period of limitations for certain non-capital homicide
offenses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as ``Kamisha's Law''.
SEC. 2. NO PERIOD OF LIMITATIONS FOR CERTAIN NON-CAPITAL HOMICIDE
OFFENSES.
(a) In General.--Chapter 213 of title 18, United States Code, is
amended by adding at the end the following:
``Sec. 3302. Non-capital homicide offenses
``Notwithstanding any other provision of law, an indictment may be
found or information may be instituted at any time without limitation
for--
``(1) murder in the second degree under section 1111;
``(2) voluntary manslaughter under section 1112;
``(3) attempted manslaughter under section 1113;
``(4) murder in the second degree, voluntary manslaughter,
or attempted manslaughter under section 1114;
``(5) murder in the second degree, voluntary manslaughter,
or attempted manslaughter under section 1116;
``(6) murder in the second degree under section 1118;
``(7) murder in the second degree, voluntary manslaughter,
or attempted manslaughter under section 1119;
``(8) murder in the second degree or voluntary manslaughter
under section 1120; or
``(9) murder in the second degree or voluntary manslaughter
under section 1121.''.
(b) Clerical Amendment.--The table of sections for chapter 213 of
title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the
following:
``3302. Non-capital homicide offenses.''.
