A bill to amend title 38 of the United States Code to provide that one-half of any social security benefit increases provided for by Public Law 92-336 be disregarded in determining eligibility for pension or compensation under such title.

Provides that there shall not be counted, in determining the annual income of a parent entitled to dependency and indemnity compensation upon the death of a veteran, one-half of any increase in monthly insurance benefits payable to him under title II (Old-Age, Survivors' and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act, the Railroad Retirement Act of 1935 or the Railroad Retirement Act of 1937 which resulted solely from the enactment of Public Law 92-336 or Public Law 92-460. Provides that there shall not be counted, in determining the annual income of an individual entitled to a veteran's pension for non-service connected disability or death, one-half of any increase in monthly insurance benefits payable to him under title II (Old-Age, Survivors' and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act which resulted solely from the enactment of Public Law 92-336.
