Adult Education Amendments - Provides that not more than l5 percent of funds appropriated under this Act shall be reserved for special projects. Provides that State plans desiring an allotment of Federal funds under this Act shall provide for cooperation with manpower development and training programss and occupational education program and shall provide that the State agency will make available not to exceed 25 percent of the State's allotment for programs of high school equivalency certificates.
Permits any State which receives assistance under this Act to establish and maintain a State advisory council which shall be appointed by the Governor. Sets forth the functions of such Council. Authorizes to be appropriated $225,000,000 for each of the next six fiscal years to carry out the purpose of this Act.
