A bill to provide for the inclusion of emergency power equipment in federally assisted multifamily housing facilities which are designed for occupancy in whole or substantial part by the elderly, and to authorize Federal loans to finance the provision of such equipment for those facilities.

Requires the inclusion of emergency power equipment in federally assisted multifamily housing facilities which are designed for occupancy in whole or substantial part by the elderly. Authorizes Federal loans to finance the provision of such equipment for those facilities, and sets forth the terms of such loans.

Authorizes such appropriations as necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.
