A resolution creating a select committee to conduct an investigation and study of the role of the oil and gas industry in contributing to the current energy crisis.

Creates a select committee to be composed of nine Members of the House of Representatives to be appointed by the Speaker, one of whom he shall designate as chairman.

Directs the committee to conduct a full investigation of the role of the oil and gas industry in contributing to the current energy crisis. Provides that the committee shall report to the House as soon as practicable during the present Congress the results of its investigation and study, together with such recommendations as it deems advisable.
