A bill to repeal certain provisions of law allowing prospecting and mining within important components of the National Park System, to prohibit prospecting and mining activities within such areas, and for other purposes.

Provides compensation to parties possessing enumerated mineral and mining rights in national parks acquired prior to this Act and terminated by this Act. Authorizes appropriations of such sums as may be necessary to defray the costs of this Act.
