A bill to amend title 18 of the United States Code to increase the penalty for committing certain crimes with a firearm or while unlawfully carrying a firearm.

Amends the Gun Control Act of 1968 to require that whoever uses or carries a firearm during the commission of a felony subject to prosecution in a Federal court be sentenced to a term of imprisonment for not less than two years in addition to the punishment provided for the commission of such felony. Requires that in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, the felon be sentenced to a term of imprisonment of not less than five years. (Amends 18 U.S.C. 924(c))
